I have been with ATT for 17 years this September.  My entire time with ATT has been here in Sacramento.  I started in 611 on T st, I was there for the 15 months required for time and title and then moved on to construction in west Sacramento.  I worked for construction for 5 years and then moved on to I/M.  When I got to I/M I started as a Service Tech at the 24/S garage downtown, then moved my way to become a MST out of the same garage.  I became a steward roughly 5 years ago and did that for a short time.  I then ran for executive board and did one term there and figured I wanted to make a real change in the local and ran for president, and here I am.  I’m not the most seasoned union person, obviously, but I have a passion for doing it and am not afraid to speak up.  Change starts one person at a time.
